Home from Houston

I ended up driving into Houston and meeting with the Charge Nurse . Anyway... the first day she was up and walking and she did wonderful. The second day she decided she didn't want to get out of bed because she hurt. So they waited to see if she would get up on her own and guess what....she didn't. So I packed up the father in law, husband, and my daughter and off we went. By the time we left, my husband had her up 2 times and had her walk to the door and back to bed. I finished meeting with the Charge Nurse and then I went back to her room for a talk. I told her point blank if she wanted to be home by Monday evening she needed to get up and walk on her own. She said she would try tomorrow. Well see. Thanks Guy and Lisa for your comments. Lets just hope she makes up her mind to walk tomorrow.
