Well it is another day. I'm waiting on a phone call before I head out again. My mother in law made it through her surgery just fine. She was feeling no pain when I left out late last night. I had something said to me by her doctor last night and I still don't know how to take it. My mother in law was asking for something to eat. So I went down to the nurses station to ask for something. As I am walking down the hall her doctor is leaning against the wall watching me walk towards him. Now I had just talked to him 45 minutes earlier. He sticks out his hand to grab mine and tells me that " if I were a preacher man, you would make me want to lay my bible down". I said do what. He goes... you know what I mean and grinned. Then he started in about being his long tall Texas gal. I could not believe what I was hearing. Two nurses were standing near by and looked at me and smiled and turned back around. I told Dr.R I thought he needed to go home after having a long day. He asked if I was kicking him out. I told him yes. He just stood there and watched me at the nurses station and then as I walked back down the hall. It made me feel nasty. I told my hubby about it this morning and he laughed and said I know how to make a old man horny. Funny honey. I hope he can behave himself when I take my mother in law back in for her office visits. I would die if he said anything like that in front of her.
I'm going to pick up my baby girl in Bay City in a little bit. I can't wait to see her. I miss hearing her voice. I can talk to her 3 or 4 times a day and still miss her like crazy.I have to cut a head of hair before I go, but it won't take long. I'm glad the rain has stopped. I was beginning to think I would have to row a boat to get around town.
