No toons for her

I took this picture earlier. No one believes me that daughter dear rather read than watch tv. I asked if she would like to watch some Sponge Bob and no was the answer. I rather read. So she sat there and ate cereal and finished reading her book. She has to do a five page book report every six weeks for a test grade. She told me that she picked this book to do her book report on because she wanted to know more about segregation. The book is called Through My Eyes by Ruby Bridges. She amazes me in how she thinks about things. I asked her later on how she learned the word segregation and she told me she heard it on the nightly news. Who says you can't learn something new every day.
