It's raining cats and dogs here and I'm getting that dirt watered in really good but enough already. I made it over to Victoria no problem got me a new and improved tree trimmer. It ought to be new and improved damn thing cost me $80 the paint was cheaper at $65.
I decided on the way home I would stop in Bloomington and visit my best male friend. Yes I said best male friend. He is a grandpa for the first time and he will make a good grandpa in my eyes. He asked if I wanted to visit with his parents for a few minutes so we walked next door for a visit. His mom ended up telling me he is getting married next month. I'm just so happy for him. He is a sweetheart of a guy and I'm sure he will make a great hubby. My only thing is why he didn't tell me??? I guess it's a guy thing. But I'm so happy for them both.
Anyway I get home prop my feet up and the dang doorbell rings. It's my neighbor holding this huge platter of cookies. I'm like who died??? I guess that wasn't the right thing to say because she just looked at me like what??? Anyway her hubby is so proud of the trees and the yard being cleaned up that way he didn't have to do it when he came home that he wanted me to have a gift of some kind. The guy is a real sweetie. I guess I'll waddle off to the kitchen to have one now.
