Good morning folks! It's finally a bright and sunny day here on the bay. This makes me a happy happy girl. Having all the rain clear out makes the knee hurt less. I get to go to the torture chamber in about an hour. I can't wait...
DD was chosen to give announcements at school today. She was so excited because not only would the school be listening to her give announcements but the Grandparents would be listening also. They are having Grandparent's day at school today. My parents look forward to this each year. I can't wait to see them after they have spent the day with a bunch of 5th graders.
I went to school yesterday afternoon to give an update on what was going on with the knee and visited with DD during lunch.DD's teacher came up and told me that DD was dizzy after PE. I questioned DD about this and she said she didn't really feel well. I asked her why she didn't say anything and it was..."I don't want to miss school" and "my friend is suppose to spend the night Friday". I told her if she was sick then she needed to see a doctor. So I checked her out and hubby drove us back to Victoria so she could see the doctor. All the way to Victoria it was...I'm not sick. This is so silly. I should be in school. Well she ended up being sick.She has fluid on her inner ear, her tonsils are infected and she has a upper respiratory infection. I spent just under $100 dollars worth on meds. So I hope this will get her to feeling better. I talked with her friends mom and she said as long as DD isn't running any fever she doesn't mind her child spending the night. If it were my child I would have second thoughts. But that's me....
I guess I'll go slap some war paint on and make my way to the torture chamber. Hope all of you have a great day!
