I had the news on yesterday morning when Daughter Dear got up. This was reporting on the news as she walked in to say good morning. She sat there wide eyed and said she was going to have to go look it up on the computer. I didn't say anything until she put her library book in my face. I don't know what it is with kids and books. Every time I turn around I'm getting papers shoved up in my face. I can see just fine thank you very much. Anyway her library book was about King Tut. Hmmm...I told her that is interesting. She was a little upset that I didn't have more to say. But when your half asleep I can't talk about King Tut more less the weather. She walked off saying I thought she was strange just like some of her friends had said. I got up and explained that I was just sleepy still and hadn't had a chance to wake up yet. That seem to smooth things over. So for the rest of the day I listened to her go on about King Tut.....
