I walked into the local Wal Mart yesterday evening to pick up some stuff for our Fall Festival on Saturday. What greets me as I walk into the building....A 18 foot Christmas tree. Why can't we have Thanksgiving before you drag out all that Christmas crap. Am I one of the few that like to celebrate Thanksgiving?? Do any of you find it a huge chore to put up all the Christmas decorations. Last but not least Am I the only one who doesn't like Christmas time because it's way to commercialized now. Daughter Dear and I bake a cake every Christmas to celebrate Jesus's birthday. This has become a tradition for our family on Christmas Eve. At first my sister thought it was a bunch of hog wash but after seeing DD with the cake and how much it meant to her that we celebrate his birthday she finally came around to our way of thinking.
