I had my little visit with the knee doc today and of course it didn't go as I had planned. The doctor wasn't impressed with the way my knee or my quads looked at all and when he started poking around I have to say it didn't feel all that great either. We went over the therapy that I'm doing each day and the things that I can't do like climb stairs or walk up an incline.
He started talking about knee replacement again and I blew him off. I can't do it now and I won't even consider it. So he started talking about shooting my knee up with Synvisc. He explained that this might help out until I decide.
I'm in pain but I have to say that after having the first injection it stopped the clicking sound my knee makes when I walk. Now all I have to do is go in next week and the following week to get two more injections. Hey I get a day off. Works for me.
