Knee injection from Hell...

I knew last night when I kept dreaming that the doctor would hit a nerve something would go wrong today. So I'm up on the table and they start poking around looking for a hole in the joint area to inject the needle. So the doctor finds the right spot. He sticks the needle in with the numbing stuff in it into my knee. He tries to unscrew the part of the syringe that was holding the numbing agent so he can put the other syringe holding the medicine into my knee. He can't get the end to unscrew. So he is trying to turn and unscrew the syringe while this needle is inside my joint. I look at him and tell him he is hurting me. He said he knew he was but he really didn't want to stick me again so he would try one more time to get the end off. It worked and he got the medicine in but now my knee is really swollen and sore inside. I was in tears on the way back to work it hurt so bad. The nurse was kind enough to make me an icepack but I wasn't able to sit and stay off of my leg. I wasn't allowed to go home either because there is a shortage of subs. So here I sit with the inside of my knee throbbing and I get to go through all this again next week. Joy... joy....
