My parents are sneaky. Every year they hand out money for Christmas. I usually put mine along with Daughter Dears in her savings account. Well last year DD let it slip that I was putting my part into her account and my parents didn't like this at all. I was given the lecture on how I never do anything for myself and blah blah blah.
So yesterday DD and I are getting ready to leave for a Christmas party and the doorbell rings. I answer it and the UPS man has left a styrofoam cooler on the door step. I'm thinking its a mistake because all my orders have come in. I look down and it's from Omaha Steaks and it has my name on it. So I carry it into the garage and start looking at the slip. My parents sent me food. They know I like to eat and I can't put meat in savings. Ha! So I guess I'll be eating high on the hog for awhile.
I received the following items:
1 box of 5oz. steaks
1 box of boneless pork chops
1 box of stuffed sole with scallops and crabs
1 box of hot dogs
1 box of chicken breast
1 box of stuffed baked potatoes
1 cutlery set with cutting board
1 cookbook
I've said it before I'm blessed to have such a good family!
