Screwed up doctor office rules

I had a few minutes to call and make an appointment for Daughter Dear today only to be told that I had to call the day of. I explained that I was at work and that I really needed an appointment tomorrow because DD's ear is hurting and her throat is burning and she was so dizzy this morning that she had to sit out of PE. She said she would be more than happy to make an appointment in the morning at 8:00 am. Office Policy. WTF... I hung up and boy was I ticked off. I've never heard of such a thing. So now I have to sit around tomorrow until 8:00 am and see what time I can get her in. Office policy my ass...
