Kids will be kids

Daughter Dear has a birthday coming up on Thursday. Well... She has been snooping for gifts. I had two of them wrapped but the cellphone wasn't. I had it plugged in charging in the master bathroom. Daughter Dear comes into the kitchen so excited saying she couldn't wait for Thursday. I told her it would be here soon enough. Later that evening hubby comes in telling me that she was asking why a cellphone was in the drawer in our bathroom. He told her he didn't know. She is so giddy with excitement that I figured I will have the last laugh. She will be getting a gift on her birthday (clothes and a pair of shoes)then on Friday she will be getting a boogie board at her party from us. I will have her scratching her head because she won't be getting her phone until Sunday at my parents house. They're having a family celebration for her birthday so I figured that would be the best time to surprise her with the phone.
