My friend that is a landscaper finally solved my mystery. If no one else can identify your plant, I will forward the picture to him.

It's a Red Bottlebrush Tree! At least that's the common name if it. Hummingbirds love it!

I was going to say it's a hummingbird tree....because yes Robert, hummingbirds love it.
