Yep, I'm a slacker when it comes to this place. It's at the bottom of the totem pole I guess you could say. I have been dealing with some health issues that look to be finally clearing up. All I'm going to say, is if you get bit by a spider go in and let the doctor look at it right then and there. I didn't and have been dealing with a nasty infection. Spent four days in the hospital being hooked up to IVs trying to keep the infection from spreading to my knee. Now the meds that I have been on have eaten my stomach up so as time goes on I wish I would have done things different. You live you learn.....
I'm going to try and do better in posting over here. I'm a little addicted to Facebook. I play to much Mafia Wars and Frontierville....Maybe a intervention is needed.

I got bit on the bottom of my foot when I was in Florida a few years ago. I didn't think a lot of it right away since it only itched.
Next day I had a lump the size of a tennis ball on the bottom of my foot and couldn't stand on it because of the pain.
A friend drove me to the local hospital where they lanced the lump, squeezed the gunk out and soaked the foot in a pail of some sort of medicine. Then they bandaged it up. I went back about 4-days later and they changed the bandage. It took about 12-days for the damn thing to heal.
I guess it wasn't a brown recluse or I'd be taking a dirt nap right now!
I've been dealing with this thing since the middle of October and I'm burnt out with dealing with it. The doctor seems to think it was a brown recluse. I just want it to be over with....
It sucks when you don't feel good for so long. Think I will go stomp on a couple of spiders, in your honor.
After reading about your childs arm being taped, it has me wondering if they could have done that with this bite of mine?
